JCM 491: Covering the world games
These are two Thinglinks I have made for my class partnered with The World Games 2022, coming to Birmingham, Alabama in July 2022. These Thinglinks are virtual reality tours of venues featuring 360º footage, flat photos, and video footage my classmates and I have shot and edited over the course of the semester. The Thinglinks are meant to provide reported information for incoming guests of The World Games 2022 to feel prepared and well-researched about venues and the city of Birmingham. Labor Day Travel 2020 VO
Airport travel spiked for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic over Labor Day weekend of 2020. This is a VO I reported and shot using a Zoom Q8 camera. I edited footage on Adobe Premiere Pro. B-roll was provided through my class.

This is a segment of news anchoring from my Radio and Television Performance class. The video was shot in the studio of WVUA 23, and all b-roll and sound bites were provided to me. I covered four stories; the first and last stories were written for me, and I wrote the middle two stories.

This is a segment of sports anchoring from my Radio and Television Performance class. The video was shot in the studio of WVUA 23, and all b-roll and sound bites were provided to me. In this anchoring segment, I covered highlights from the Alabama football game versus Ole Miss. I wrote these highlights, and the other two stories were written for me.
JCM 326 Live Situationer
This is a live situationer to report the breaking news that Alabama football head coach Nick Saban tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the game against the University of Georgia. I filmed this using a Sony NX100 camera and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro.

The West Alabama Quilting Guild hosts a quilt show every other year. This video highlights the 2020 show, held in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I shot all video using a Zoom Q8 camera, and I edited all video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
